September Food Blog Roundup
Hi, friends! I can't believe this year is almost over, can you? So here we are having another recap at what we did this month! I've decided to post twice weekly as my daily work commitments and my pregnancy won't allow me to do more than that: I am usually too busy at work as to take a break to work on the blog, and sometimes I get home so tired that all I want is to sleep! I'm starting my second trimester and I'm already feeling better: I have a little (just a little bit) more energy, so I will be going back to the gym, always taking if easy of course!
I am also getting the hang of Pinterest, as I would like to automate the traffic to my blog. As you may imagine, promoting is always the busiest part, and I love this blog so much that I don't want to let it die while I am taking it a little easy to be with my family.
Anyway, have a look at how our September was; let's start with the most popular post this month:
If you have been reading this blog, you know that I am Costa Rican, currently living in South Africa and sometimes missing my homeland very much! That is why this post was so special, as it brought back many happy memories!
I'm making a huge effort to provide my baby with the right nutrition, and since I have a hard time eating spinach, the solution was to make a green smoothie.
I admit most of my food choices lately have to do with my pregnancy. I am not eating chicken at the moment, and since I can still tolerate meat, I decided to research fun ways to eat it. Plus, my husband really, really, really likes meat!
We were taking advantage of the last few cold days to use our slow cooker, I simply love it, and I am sure you will love this delicious, comforting lamb stew!
I was super excited when I knew about this festival as street food is a topic that really likes me; it was a most interesting experience and we got to try some curious foods!
Another roundup of great foods that can be cooked in one pot; these are perfect for busy weeknights!
Thanks for reading! Next week we will continue with the regular roundups. It makes me a little sad that this month I wasn't as busy as in August, but hopefully I will be able to post more often in the future! Remember you can follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, and if you like it, let's stay in touch with my weekly newsletter!
